Please click on the thumbnail photo below to find out how you can help the family of one of Grizzly Pines Elementary School's teachers, Tanis Haboush.  Tanis normally teaches grades 3-5 at Grizzly Pines and Tim, her husband, teaches 7th grade Social Studies and Language Arts as well as 8th grade PE at Mountain Creek Middle School. 

Early this school year, the Haboushes found out that their three-year-old son, Ethaniel, has Leukemia.  Since October of 2007, Ethaniel has been receiving intensive chemotherapy treatments and with proper treatment, has an 80-85% chance for complete recovery. 

As a result of her son's illness, Tanis has taken extended time off from her teaching job to be home with him.  As you can imagine, medical expenses on top of being reduced to one income has created a financial hardship for his beloved family.  Click on the photo below to learn more:

June 7: Spaghetti dinner at the Lion's Club on Pleasant Valley Road.  There will be raffles, silent auctions, a kids art sale, entertainment, and a lot of surprises!
